COMMERCE EPHEMERA - Payable in US Gold Coin

This Jones Paddock BillHead and Receipt was for coffee purchased by a grocer in Cedarville, California on October 3, 1900 from Jones Paddock, Co. in San Francisco. This early commerce document has header with a wonderful oversized vignette; a real nice piece. The logo below the vignette says Payable in U.S. Gold Coin - rare to find that!  Minor age discoloring.  Small pencil inscription in upper corner. Lots of original pencil mathematics on the page - a great example of early 1900's commerce. Blank on back. A full 8.5x11 inch sheet.
