COMMERCE EPHEMERA This Burnham-Standeford Company and Oakland Planing Mills Bill Head and Receipt was for lumber billed out of Oakland, California. Dated September 26, 1902, this was early in the company's history. Burnham-Standeford Company was established in 1869 shortly after the Civil War to support the re-construction effort. The header is incredibly beautiful with a wonderful vignette advertising sugar pin, cedar and black walnut lumber. A real nice piece. Minor age discoloring, creased, and small tack holes.
