Prospectors Outfitting Goldfield Nevada 1908 Post Card This is an used Real Photo post card with a picture of three men, two donkeys, and a cart loaded up with prospecting equipment. The text below the picture reads Prospectors Outfit, Goldfield Nev. The card is from 1906, early in the camp history as indicated by the amount of tent cabins in the picture. We know b.c. we have another of the same card dated 1906 signed by the son of the man that made these post cards. The photo really speaks to what it must have been to be a prospector in those days! The reverse side is postmarked with a Scarce early Diamondfield Nevada cancel dated April 3, 1908 and addressed to someone in Ohio. It has a green one cent stamp. We grade FINE.
